LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS

1. PUSHBACK PROCEDURES

a. Pushback from Stand No. 1, 2 and 3:

i. Aircraft parked on stand no. 1, 2 and 3 shall be pushed back facing east onto apron taxilane ‘A2’, nose abeam stand

no.9, to taxi out via TWY B1, TWY B.

ii. While aircraft is pushed back abeam stand 9, aircraft parked on stands 01, 02, 03 shall not be permitted to pushback

facing east.

iii. Alternatively, aircraft parked on stand no 1 and 2 can be pushed back onto apron taxilane ‘A2’ facing west to taxi out

via TWY B. Aircraft on Stand no. 3 will be allowed to pushback facing east only.

iv. Taxi clearance shall be given by the controller on completion of start-up based on prevailing traffic conditions. Any

delay and departure sequence will be notified to aircraft by SMC.

b. Pushback from Stand No. 9,10,11:

i. Aircraft parked on stand no. 9, 10 and 11 shall be pushed back onto apron taxilane A2 facing east or west to taxi out via

TWY A2, TWY B1,TWY B/TWY A2, TWY B.

ii. Nose facing direction shall be instructed by controller subject to prevailing traffic.

c. Pushback from Stand No.12:

i. Aircraft parked on Stand no.12 shall be pushed back onto TWY B facing southeast direction or west to taxi out via

TWY B.

2. No Aircraft shall take lock turn/ pivotal turn on the Runway to avoid pavement damage.

c. Taxilane parallel to stand 8 and connecting taxilanes A2 and A1 is designated as TWY B1.

d. Temporary Exemption Granted by DGCA: DGCA India has granted temporary exemption vide

Ref. No: AV.20025/34/2006-AL dated 29.12.2023 for non-compliant width of runway strip for RWY09/27 against

provisions in CAR Section 4, Series B, Part I, Para 3.4.3 for the period up to 31.03.2025.

e. Runway Turn Pads, capable of handling B777-300 ER type of aircraft, provided at both ends of Runway for Special

Operations with prior permission.
