ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

i.

Pilots should check the availability and proper functioning of Sri Sathya Sai airport NDB and the aircraft capability in getting proper VOR/DME information from Bengaluru and Bellary to ascertain proper positioning of aircraft before descending below 7500feet.

ii.

For scheduled operations operators are required to file SOPs for their operation with the DGCA and obtain approval therefore. The SOPs shall include obtaining prior briefing for operating each to SSS airport.

iii.

All non-scheduled jet aircraft require prior permission of the DGCA in addition to that Sri Sathya Sai airport authority, for operating to/from Sri Sathya Sai airport.
