ii. All code A/B/C/ D/E aircraft shall push back on Aircraft Stand Taxi Lanes only.
iii. ATC shall mention the direction of push back (e.g., Push back and start up approved, facing East on Taxilane).
iv. The push back separation requirement on apron incorporates jet blast clearance (minimum 250M behind code D/E
aircraft and 80M behind code A/B/C aircraft). All stands in the apron are power in / push back.
v. Power out is not permitted from any stand.
vi. Ensuring correct pushback on Taxilane as per instructions received from ATC is the responsibility of Airline operator and
Apron Control. All aircraft shall be pushed back up to the specified push back position marking (i.e., the nose wheel of
the aircraft will be at the tug disconnection point marked on Aircraft Stand Taxilane) corresponding to the stand from
which push back was commenced unless otherwise instructed by ATC.
vii. All aircraft parked on stand 01, 02, 03, shall push back facing east for startup and taxi via TWY C7 irrespective of
runway in use.
viii. All aircraft on stand 14L,14 and 14R shall push back abeam stand 14L facing
west to taxi out via TWY C4.
4. TAXIING PROCEDURES
i. Advanced Visual Docking Guidance System (AVDGS) is available only in MARS Contact Stands: 12L, 12, 12R, 13L, 13,
13R, 14L, 14, 14R. For remaining Stands: 01 to 11R, Marshalling service will be provided by Ground Handling Agent.

Yellow and are to be used by Code C type of aircraft or aircrafts with wingspan lesser than 36m.
iv. Aircraft stand taxi lane 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 are continuous lines painted in Yellow and can be used for aircrafts up to
Code E Type.
v. An aircraft vacating runway via exit taxiways A3 and from Taxiway A1 is not simultaneously clear of Runway and
parallel taxiway B.
vi. Rapid Exit Taxiways (RET) A3 shall not be used for departures even though RGL are provided. (No entry sign boards
are provided at this point).
vii. 180-degree turn is allowed for Code A/B/C/D/E aircrafts at turn pads on the RWY THR 07 and 25.

5. TAXING OUT FROM APRON
Aircraft Pushing back in to the Taxi Lane can proceed via Taxiway C4, C 5, C 6, C 7 as per instructions from ATC.

6. TAXIING INTO APRON
All aircrafts proceeding to Aircraft Parking Stands have to follow Aircraft stand Taxi lane after entering Apron via TWY C4, C5, C6 and C 7.

7. MOVEMENT OF CODE- E AIRCRAFT:
For Code E type of Aircrafts, caution should be exercised and minimum power to be used at the intersection of Apron Taxi Lane with TWY C4, C5, C6, C7.
8. JET BLAST ABATEMENT PROCEDURES

Jet Blast prone areas on Main Apron: Apron is linked with Taxiway C4, C5, C6 and C7. The Jet blast study conducted on the critical aircraft for VOKN, B777-300ER, shows the following observations.
