ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

i. Military operation flying will take priority over the civil flight.

ii. Glider flying between 0030-0230 UTC daily.

iii. Caution for high hill around the airfield.

iv. Heavy Bird activity including migratory birds OBS in and around airfield FM one HR prior to one HR AFT SR and SS times. Pilot to exercise caution during landing and takeoff and flying WI circuit area.

v. Hydrogen filled balloons of size 141 cm with transmitters will be released between 2300-0100 UTC, 1100-1300 UTC and 1700-1900 UTC daily. Safety Height 30,000m, horizontal displacement is 120 kms with rate of ascent of 300m/min.

vi. Unmarked link road established between middle marker and marker 4 port side of RWY 28. Pilot to exercise caution while taxing landing and take-off.

vii. All outstation military aircraft planned to land at Visakhapatnam to contact OPS Authority and obtain positive clearance 24 hrs prior to departure from previous airfield.

viii. All sked non sked flights may be delayed due extensive military flying.

ix. All non-scheduled aircraft to obtain positive clearance before operation.
