ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

1. (a) The facilities/ infrastructure at IAF aerodromes mainly cater for Air Force commitments, some of these (like Rescue and Crash Fire Fighting facilities, aerodrome markings, Nav-aids, ATC briefing section etc.) may not conform to ICAO standards.

In this regard, IAF accepts no responsibility, whatsoever for the shortcomings/ variations if any.

(b) Landing and parking facility is available in IAF dispersal for ATR 72/Q 400 and A320/B-737class of aircraft. At any given time, maximum of four aircraft (Two of each type) will be permitted on the apron for boarding/ de-boarding.

(c) No Instrument approach is available for RWY 09

(d) Due to extensive bird activity around the airfield, flying is restricted plus minus one hour of sunrise and sunset.

(e) Due to proximity of VIP-89 (South-West of Hindan (236DEG/8NM)), all fixed wing aircraft to mandatory turn Right for a

Northerly heading after departure RWY 27.

(f) All slow moving traffic incoming/ transiting via Delhi to mandatorily contact hindan Tower/ Approach open over point-N

(360DEG/10NM from DPN) or continue on a northerly heading/maintaining 12 DME ARC HND till such time two way communication is established with hindan to avoid departing/arriving traffic at HINDAN.)
