1. New Apron is not visible from Tower. Pilots should exercise caution when manoeuvring on the Apron due to the proximity
of other aircraft, ground staff and equipment. Engine power should be restricted to the minimum required, to reduce the
adverse effect of jet blast.
2. Entry into parking stands 5 to 16 will be through TWY 'E' and these stands are power in pushback. Parking stand
number 13 does not exist.
3. Stands 8, 9, 10 are Mars-Multiple Aircraft Ramp System-type and the pattern of Taxi lead in lines require nose wheel
steering while taxi into stand.
4. Advanced Visual Docking Guidance System (AVDGS) is available for stands 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. For all other
stands marshalling service will be provided by operator/ ground handling agency.
5. Non-standard parking not allowed. No aircraft shall be parked beyond clear lines.
6. Only Idle Power Engine run is permitted on parking stands agency shall exercise all necessary ground precautions.
7. Simultaneous Push-back from adjacent Stands not permitted.
8. For Traffic planning requirements the estimated time for completion of pushback is 4 min and for engine start 2 min. Any
delay shall be communicated to ATC.
9. Code D aircraft from stand 8 shall not push back beyond stop line near stand 7.
10. All aircraft proceeding to stands 5 to 16 to follow appropriate Stand lead-in lines from aircraft stand taxi lane.
Parking stand number 13 does not exist.
11. Code D aircraft is not permitted on aircraft stand taxi lane west of stop line near Stand 7.
12. Code C aircrafts (A320, A321, B737 and Turbo prop) pushing back from Stand 5 and 6 shall be pulled forward
abeam Stand 7 tow bar disconnection point for startup and thereafter TWY “E”.
13. Single engine run up on Idle power at stand will be permitted based on the request from the pilot and confirmation
of adherence to all required ground safety measures by the aircraft operator. Overall responsibility rests with
Aircraft operator.
14. Except Turboprop aircraft landing and Takeoff for aircraft code C & code D is not permitted on RWY 06/24 during
RWY surface condition and Cross Windspeed condition mentioned below.
a. Dry RWY Surface : Cross Windspeed of 15 KT or more.
b. Any one third or more part of RWY surface is in WET conditions : Cross Windspeed of 10KT or more.
Details of Windspeed may be obtained from ATC on RT or from ATIS broadcast. Pilots of turboprop aircraft to exercise
caution during landing and Takeoff for Cross Windspeed of more than 10KT, when RWY surface WET and 15KT, when
RWY surface DRY.
